At Getcoins.com.au, we are committed to transparent pricing. All fees are displayed before you confirm a transaction.
1. Service Fees
- A service fee is applied to each on-ramp (AUD → AUDD/crypto) and off-ramp (crypto/AUDD → AUD) transaction.
- The exact fee is shown in the transaction summary before you proceed.
- Service fees cover the cost of processing, compliance checks, and platform maintenance.
Transparency Commitment: You will always see the exact fee amount before confirming any transaction. No surprises, no hidden costs.
2. Network Fees
- For crypto transactions, you are responsible for blockchain network fees (gas fees).
- Network fees vary depending on the blockchain and current network activity.
- These fees are not controlled by Getcoins and are paid directly to blockchain miners/validators.
- Network fees are displayed in the transaction preview before confirmation.
Understanding Network Fees
Network fees (also called gas fees) are paid to process transactions on the blockchain. During periods of high network congestion, these fees may increase. We recommend checking current network conditions before making large transactions.
3. Administrative Fees (Refunds)
Refunds are only available in limited cases (failed KYC, compliance rejection, blacklisted wallets). In such cases:
- Refunds may be subject to an administrative fee of up to 8% (minimum AUD 200).
- Refunds are always returned to the original payment source.
- Processing time for refunds is typically 5-10 business days.
4. Holding Fees (Exceptional Cases)
If customers fail to provide required information for a pending refund or compliance review:
- A monthly holding fee of 10% or AUD 200 (whichever is greater) may apply until resolution.
- This fee covers the cost of maintaining funds in escrow and ongoing compliance monitoring.
- Holding fees are deducted from the refund amount.
5. No Hidden Charges

We do not charge for account creation or maintenance (services are non-custodial).
✓ No Withdrawal Fees
Standard withdrawals to your Australian bank account have no additional fees beyond the service fee.
✓ No Deposit Fees
Bank transfers to Getcoins are free. Your bank may charge their own fees.
✓ Upfront Disclosure
All fees are disclosed upfront before you confirm any transaction.
